The DaVinci Code

I haven’t read the book or seen the movie. I did have to write an article about it, though. Here is what I found in “the heartland” of America: Area clergy view ‘Da Vinci Code’ movie as educational opportunity

I haven't read the book or seen the movie - I'll leave that to the vulgar herd - but from what I know of it, it is definitely blasphemous. Christians should avoid it on principle - like the Mel Gibson flick.

But note the calm reaction from the clergy that I randomly interviewed. I did not cherry pick quotes or anything. Can you imagine the reaction if The DaVinci Code was about Islam? There would be fatwas for Dan Brown's head.

The MSM in a number of instances that I noticed were looking for exaples of "crazy Chrisitans" freaking out about the movie, yet from my experience in the conservative heartland of America, I cound a very muted, calm, collected response.
